Let's say that I have 8 slides. Usually the slideshow will start rotating slides from the first slide.
It may be useful if the slideshow will start from the 3rd or 5th slide or from any custom slide.

This seems like your same request from #826372: Change the active slide depending on page address (url) At least it would be handled the same way. If you want to specify it in your slideshow in advanced settings add

startingSlide: 3

or whatever number of slide you want it to be. I am pretty sure it's zero indexed so if you wanted to start on slide 3 put 2.
