It would be nice if e-mail addresses entered through description field in core contact module settings (admin/build/contact/settings) could be a subject for SpamSpan (or other) encryption. Thank you in advance for feedback.

I don't think there is any likely hood of these feature being included in core, especially Drupal 6 as there are numerous other modules that provide this type of functionality.

It's not postponed on something, but I can't see a 3rd party like http://www.spamspan.com/ getting into Core even if it's great!
