Hi,
Is address not really included on search or is there something that I have to turn on,
I am buiding a social site where people can just search people from any city or country

I'm not too sure how the CCK search functionality works. I would think that if it works with the other fields and there is no special code to handle the search in those fields, then it just uses the normal view (display/render) functionality and thus would also work with the Addresses CCK functionality.
Thank you.

Sorry... you actually say "addresses of members" in the title... 8-)
Correct, there is no search capabilities for those.
Thank you.

Thanks for quick reply, is there a chance in the future which this might be an option? Because members can actually see each others addresses by looking at their individual profile, it's just that it's cumbersome to look at each profile, nice to have a search option :D

I have no clue how to handle the search module. It is a good idea, but I won't have the time to work on it. At least not right now.
Thank you.

There isn't a way to handle this and would be a huge undertaking. Once Views is correctly supported you may be able to do something clever with exposed filters, but for now there isn't a way and we don't have the manpower to create a way.
