Does this process work with this theme? I am using a heavily customized version of the theme and tried to implement this and I got a T_VARIABLE error. I tried the same thing on a different server and got a plain white screen on all the pages. I am not a PHP expert by any stretch of the imagination, so any help would be wonderful.

Problem solved. Sorry to bug you. It was a completely unrelated problem that brought this up.
