pembeci CreditAttribution: pembeci commentedI need a color field for my new Drupal 7 module. So I am willing to work on this if the current maintainers are not already doing so. I am also willing to incorporate choices for whick colorpicker js will be used as mentioned in #622764: Alternative jQuery Color Picker. Please let me know what is the current status so there won't be any duplicate efforts.

Raphael Apard CreditAttribution: Raphael Apard commentedHere a module for D7 (copy from http://drupal.org/project/examples - Thanks to Barry Jaspan).
Provides a colorpicker field (using Farbastic).
If someone see any troubles with this module, tell me.
[EDIT] this link is broken, use link on comment #9 (http://drupal.org/files/issues/field_color.zip)

idflood CreditAttribution: idflood commentedI don't know why but the link for the file in #8 is broken for me. Here is the valid link I hope:

I've tested it quickly and it's working nicely. It seems to me this can be a good start for a d7 version.

OFF CreditAttribution: OFF commentedIt works, but not quite as in version 6. Widget in a popup window is more convenient and background in the field are much clearer.
Also, I found a bug that appears in if the value is set in capital letters.
Look at attachments..
