I'm starting to wonder if i've added a few too many modules, hehehe.

I currenty have 52 installed plus drupal core modules. Do you think this is likely to effect performance and stability ?

Everything appears to be functioning perfectly but im starting to get a little worried i've installed too many. Each module is used so it was needed but is 52 too many do you think ?

Generally each module you add will add an extra load to the server and its memory, and at some point you might tip over the edge and start having problems with your host, especially if you're on a shared host. You may also run into the white screen of death on the modules page if you have enabled too many and PHP runs out of memory. In general though, it it's working and you need all those modules, I wouldn't worry too much.

If I were on a dedicated server I wouldn't worry but if on a shared host you might want to check and see if you can strip it down some. I guess it really depends on if those modules are heavy ones like pathauto and ecommerce and if you have a lot of traffic.

I do have pathauto but not ecommerce.

Most modules are filters and extra features like comment mover, flatforum, gmap module etc. They just seem to keep building up :)

We are getting busier but only a maximum of about 30 users online at any given time i would say. And yes we are on shared hosting ..
