i cant see any documents how to set it up. I have in the modules folder and have
activated it however i cant work out how to use it. I have seen you
have very good documents how to do this on x6 however it is totally
different on x7.
I would be grateful if you could give me the URL or documents on where
to find the edit for this module.

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commentedThe 7 branch is not ready for production, so use at your own risk. Last time I checked it was working, but it might be broken now. Feel free to report any bugs you find.
To use it it's basically the same, you choose the jQuery formatter for your image field, and configure the settings that the formatter itself has in d7. It's actually simpler to use in d7 than in d6, and lighter also.

exploit CreditAttribution: exploit commentedThanks for your responce. Every time i try and change this i get an error however im unsure if this error relates to durpal or your system or even my install.
I have made a ticket on durpal about this here: http://drupal.org/node/921852
Error image: http://drupal.org/files/issues/Untitled-1_46.jpg
I hope this helps.
thanks,

a_webb CreditAttribution: a_webb commentedI have got the 7x version of gallery formatter set up correctly using drupal 7 beta 3 (which is great) The green arrows causes the thumbnails to slide as expected. However the only problem is when I click on the thumb, expecting the gallery to slide to the thumbnail I click on nothing happens. Why does the slide not change when the thumbnail is clicked. If I can solve this problem I will be happy to commit to documenting how to set this module up in Drupal 7 (which would be the first* content slider module that works for D7 beta 3)
Thanks for this module!
actually it does appear to be working--just not when logged in as admin!
Sweet, let me do some testing, I am excited to have FINALLY found a working slider for D7 beta 3

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commented@a_webb in my install, the gallery works as expected, when you click a thumbnail, the appropriate image is switched to, both as admin (user 1) and as anonymous.

a_webb CreditAttribution: a_webb commentedIt works fine for me, still don't get the click to switch images as admin, but that is no problem because the public face of the site will not be having people viewing the site logged in--I'll check to see if it is something in my permissions.
Thanks so much for the module, really the video pretty much will work for D7, although maybe it is a tiny bit confusing because of the option to use 2 galleries. I can write up a brief D7 install document if you wish.

Manuel Garcia CreditAttribution: Manuel Garcia commentedThe module in d7 is stil under development, as I want to clear a few things in 6.x, then port those to d7, but the basic functionality will be the same. Mainly I'm talking about is:
Another interesting thread could be #862504: More formatters., but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere, so I guess we'll stick with what we have.
So sure a_webb, anything documentation written helps, even if it just describes that you need to setup an image field, then choose the formatter in display, etc

SMartin CreditAttribution: SMartin commentedManuel,
I'd love to give your module a spin on my D7 install but can't get started :-)
Can you give us a primer on how to get things going?
I seem to have it installed but don't know if there are any dependencies or how to configure things...
Can you help?
:-)
