I am trying to use this module, but it allows only to apply filter on "Node: Updated date"

wish this would been Node: Created date

any idea, please.

Just try to clone the view "nodereference_explorer_default" and references the newly created view from your CCK's field settings. You can customize fields and filters as you like. Please also have a look at the README.txt of the new version 1.1
