First, let me say I really like your Danland theme. I have successfully added the banner slideshow to all pages on my site based on your documentation. What I am trying to do though is this:
- Run the slideshow on the top page as normal in your theme
- On all subsequent pages (which will primarily be Blog Entries selectable from the Primary Links menu), I'd like to display a specific banner image based on the Primary Link selected.
For example, on the top page the whole slideshow plays (I have added my own images and this is working fine -- let's say there are images A, B, C, and D in the slideshow). The Primary Links menu has A, B, C, and D menu items linked to specific Blog Entry pages. I'd like image A to be displayed in the banner on Blog entry A, image B to be displayed in the banner on Blog Entry B, and so on as a static banner. I understand the static banner part, it's getting the specific image in the banner for the Blog page based on the Primary Link selected.
I am not a php programmer and would appreciate any help with this you could provide .
Thank You.
Jim

Of course you can do that, you can learn Marinelli theme.

Is there any way to change the first image in the slide show based on the page you are visiting or have the sideshow continue from where it was on the previous page rather than start from the start on each page???
You get me?
Thanks
Ryan

daydreamnation CreditAttribution: daydreamnation commentedIs there any way you could give a little more detail about doing this? I found the similar issue with the marinelli theme but the solution they came up with doesn't seem full proof, especially when executing into the Danland theme.
Thanks for your time.

verta CreditAttribution: verta commentedI think this banner module might be something that does what you need, although I have not tried it yet, the spec seems a decent match,
http://drupal.org/project/dynamic_banner
or possibly http://drupal.org/project/area_banner although it looks older.
