Node References and i18n

We are using the Node Relationships module and are not shure where to address this problem.

We are using nodes with node references to other nodes (images, videos etc.). If we translate a node, and save it, we get an "Dokument: Dieser Beitrag kann nicht referenziert werden" (means "document: this post can't be referenced")

with the Node Relationships widget we can add a new node reference, but if we try to save it, again appears the same error.

I search around a bit for this error, got 3 different bugs that seem familiar with ours, but i am node sure if they really address this problem:
