"verify using audio/image" text is ambiguous

I understand that the title over the CAPTCHA says "Word verification", but I've had several users get confused by the link next to it saying "verify using audio/image". The users think that when they click the audio it should match the image that was just displayed. I understand that the word changes every time you click the link, but that's not always obvious. The other option is a more major design change, where you can play audio of what the image is displaying.

The users I have who are complaining about this are not necessarily the most computer savvy, but I would bet represent a lot of users in the real world. They also complain that they can't read the image CAPTCHAs. That problem isn't one I expect anyone else to fix, however.
