Ran emf through coder and changed some db D6 errors. not yet tested but good base to start porting ;-)

More work has been committed to the 7.x-1.x branch. This is, IMHO, starting to looks good.

I ported the actions to Drupal 7 and made some change. I'm not used to actions so I would appreciate if someone could do a quick review: http://drupalcode.org/project/emf.git/commitdiff/761208b9d528b4296754063...

I think the 7.x-1.x branch on the repository is in a state good enough for inclusion as "official" dev version of EMF on the project page and issue queue. After review, an alpha release is probably an option too.
