It is important that update.php is run every time a module is updated to a newer version.
It think it would prove very useful on the Reports>Available updates; page as well. Since that is where you are when reviewing and downloading the actual updated modules. It would the natural next step to click on UPDATE.php
Also I see no harm in reminding people again.
