A free-tagging vocabulary would allow to connect various related projects in interesting ways.

One use-case: themes compatible with OpenPublish distribution can be tagged with "#OPTHEME" tag allowing an easy, distributed and efficient way of tracking those. Same applies for themes compatible with any other distribution as well.

There could be many other cross-referencing use-cases, including those similar to: #D7CX and #D7UX

Of course, another way to achieve the desired effect is, to do what was done for #D7CX, but as the number of possible tags grows it will probably be more manageable if those are tags rather than just text in the body?
