I've been using the video module for a while now and have been very impressed. Recently I upgraded all modules on my site. I can now take advantage of using qt-faststart on my mp4 videos that are uploaded. What I was wondering is if theres a way to reprocess all previously uploaded mp4 videos to take advantage of qt-faststart?

This is handy when you tinker around with ffmpeg settings.

heshanlk@dmurray there is no any admin interface to do re transcode videos, but you can simple go to the video_files table and change the status to 1, then all will start transcoding again.

I also think about an batch job to transcode all videos in a row,but it will be a problem if u get a youtube :-) . The most of us I think have only use for it after the first installation process and that's great, because this module handles everything else as expected. So the easiest way to transcode via an update or recode button should be the first attempt to extend this module. Any hints are welcome.
