Danland Page Not Showing

Hello, Thank you for answering my last question. I have reset the defaults in the performance settings, and also cleared the cache. The performance settings are now back at disable. When the theme goes back to the default setting of Garland, the wide banner shows at the top and it only shows the mountains, but when I set the theme back to the Danland theme it still shows the same as before. Is there a certain file or files that need certain permissions? Thank you

Changed the theme to Danblog, and the wide banner slideshow is there without the pics. Only a red x in the box, but is reading slideshow 1 2 3. When I switch back to the Danland theme it's not there. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I am new to this.

Never mind. I got it. Didn't put it in sites/all/themes folder

Still getting the same issue as before. Danland not showing slideshow banner or color, but Danblog is showing slideshow banner, but with no pics. Just a red x. It's got to be something that I did wrong. I even have two search boxes instead of one when I click the search box in the theme section. I have one on the left that I seem to can't get rid of, and one on the top right which I want. I downloaded drupal from godaddy.com. The themes that come with it seem to work ok, but I can't seem to get this one to work properly.
