installing and using this module

I'm wondering if I can use the filefield and filefield sources module along with the fileimport module found at::
http://drupal.org/project/file_import

I was using the fileimport module first, but would like to move over to the filefield and filefieldsources module as it has more options and things to offer. do you see any conflicts with them both installed and eventually removing fileimport module once I'm good with the filefield module.
