The CKEditor module automatically adds html markup when switching a text area from plain text mode to rich text editor mode on CKEditor enabled text areas. This is perfectly fine if you intend to always use CKEditor, but if you want to keep CKEditor as editing option, the added markup may cause issues with input filters (ex: markdown).
This module prevents CKEditor from adding line break HTML markup when switching from plain text mode to rich text editor mode. This feature can be configured in CKEditor profile settings.
Note: This module is only necessary for CKEditor version > 6.x-1.3.
