Facebook social plugins module provides the Facebook Social Plugins available to allow your app to like, share, comment, page plugin and more.
We can configure the all the facebook social plugins from backend and add the pseudo fields will be available for the active entities and configure the visibility from manage display.
The main features of the module:
Available as block - Select any facebook social plugins that you want and add them to the page as block. We can configure all the available options to display the social plugins as our requirement from backend.
Available as field - Pseudo fields will be available to content type or entities after configuring the facebook social plugins and select services that you want for this entities.We can configure all the available options to display the social plugins as our requirement from block configurations.
User Permissions - We can manage permisions to access the configuration forms to add the pseudo fields on the entities
At the moment available Facebook Social Plugins services:
Like Button for the Web
When a person visiting your webpage clicks the Like button, an App Event is triggered to log this like on Facebook.
Comments Plugin
The comments plugin lets people comment on content on your site using their Facebook account. People can choose to share their comment activity with their friends (and friends of their friends) on Facebook as well. The comments plugin also includes built-in moderation tools.
Share Button
The Share button lets people add a personalized message to links before sharing on their timeline, in groups, or to their friends via a Facebook Message.
Page Plugin
The Page plugin lets you easily promote any public Facebook Page on your website. Just like on Facebook, your visitors can like and share the Page without leaving your site. You can use the Page plugin for any Page that is not restricted, for example, by country or age.
Installation
Through Composer
composer require drupal/fb_social_plugins
OR
Through Manually
1. Copy Facebook social plugins to the modules directory of your Drupal installation.
2. Enable the 'Facebook social plugins' module in 'Extend'. (/admin/modules)
Install as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module. See: https://www.drupal.org/docs/extending-drupal/installing-modules for further information.
Configuration
1. We can configure the social plugins from:
/admin/fb-social-plugins/fb-like-configurations
/admin/fb-social-plugins/fb-share-configurations
/admin/fb-social-plugins/fb-page-plugin-configurations
/admin/fb-social-plugins/fb-comments-plugin-configurations
2. Enable the requied entities where the social plugins need to be dislayed and go to the manage display page of the active entities and configure the visibility.
Please flush all the caches after submitting the configurations.
