This module creates a "theme independent" Global Region. This region will show up on the blocks page of every theme. Blocks can be placed in this theme like regular theme regions.
The region will appear either at the top or left of the page. The regular body of the page will be pushed either down or to the right so that the Global Region will not overlap the current page.
The main purpose of this module is to create a region that can be used on sites where different pages have different themes.
Example Uses
- Create a site tool bar on a site using Organic groups where every group has it's own theme.
- Create a region that shows up in the same place on every page for site that dynamically switches pages using the ThemeKey module.
