To make use of the module you must install a mobile optimized theme. It is best to do this first. Take a look at: mobile_garland or Nokia Mobile Theme.
This module will automatically detect most mobile devices with the included detection code. If the wurfl module is installed and enabled it will be used for exact device detection against the WURFL device database.
