Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
This module provides a "Nice Date" element on nodes and comments. This was originally a custom theme extension for my blog. See:
http://www.thingy-ma-jig.co.uk/blog/10-05-2011/nice-dates-a-how-to
An element is added to $variables['nice_date']
on nodes and comment which you can then print out in your themes templates where needed.
The module uses a CSS Sprite with all the months, days and years on it to generate a small 41x40px block with the date in it.
