Themes allow you to change the look and feel of your Drupal site. You can use themes contributed by others or create your own to share with the community. Contributed themes are not part of any official release and may not have optimized code/functionality for your purposes.
You can also create a sub-theme of an existing theme. A sub-theme inherits a parent theme's resources. Read more about Sub-theme structure and inheritance.
You can also view a full index of themes listing only their titles.
Omega 4.x is a base theme framework aimed at themers who want to gain full control over the theme through code, rather than a user interface. If you depend on the user interface you can continue using Omega 3.x.
What are the features?
Omega 4.x contains a rewrite (cleanup) of all of core’s CSS and many optimizations to the markup generated by core. This backports many of the standards described in the Drupal 8 CSS Standards which make the CSS more performant and much more easily overridden and future-proof.
The Omega theme provides layouts as a method of managing page templates along with layout specific stylesheets and regions. This allows you to write highly customized layouts that can be contextually switched. You can disable this feature to use the plain page.tpl.php or even use Omega 4.x together with Panels and Panels Everywhere to gain even more control over your pages if required.
Central base theme for theme development on the Commerce Kickstart distribution, powered by Omega. This theme is meant to be subthemed and become a starting point for your own theme development that is a little more friendly out of the box than Omega by itself.
Bamboo is a responsive Drupal 7 theme designed and developed by Danny Englander (@highrockmedia). Based on the CSS Skeleton Framework, it allows for a choice of backgrounds, color palettes, sidebars and fonts in the theme's settings page.
Bamboo is aimed at users who want to get a nice looking theme up and running fast, and may not want to take the time to create a sub-theme and fuss about with regions, settings, media queries, and other super technical things. It's also aimed at the casual Drupal user who has some familiarity with building sites. This is designed with this type of user in mind, so it may not be for the developer per se who would most likely use Omega or Zen. This theme also does not require any base theme. I am considering offering some downloadable Features as well, i.e. "Slideshow", "Gallery", etc...
Alphorn is an impressive dark theme, available in 3 options: default, grey and green. Built for flexible uses, three menu options available, flexible layout, different combinations for you to choose. The overall design aim is, not to be complicated, but to be sufficiently enough. It can be your personal homepages, company profiles or anything similar.
Navin is the default theme included with the Open Enterprise distribution. It is a sub-theme of and requires the latest recommended release of Omega 7.x. Navin features an overall clean design and a simplistic approach for displaying a modern site. Like with any theme change, you may be required to reposition blocks according to the additional regions provided by Navin.
Navin is included by default with the releases of Open Enterprise 7.x-1.0-beta7 and above. It is currently in beta stages for test purposes. It is highly recommended that any issues found with Navin be put in this issue queue.
Although it's not required, this theme is made with the assumption that the site will be using Commerce. This theme will give a nice, clean design to a Commerce Kickstart installation out of the box. (version 1 out of the box, version 2 requires some updates)
Most of the inspiration for this theme is coming from Adaptive Theme, Bartik, and Omega.
Cloudy has been tested with the release 4.0-beta7 and will not work with older versions.
Cloudy is geared towards the Recruiter distribution and its features: Recruiter cloudy includes tweaks for the theme as exported block classes and alter hook implementations. Recruiter menu positions the required blocks into the navigation region.
Still, you can try the Cloudy theme with any other Drupal installation. You will want to make sure that blocks are positioned within the regions defined by the theme and apply block classes similar to those from Recruiter cloudy.
Conch is a beautiful Drupal theme developed in vintage style which will become an excellent basis for any Drupal-powered website. The theme maintains three column layout and is very easy to use. It is customizable allowing you to choose between different menu styles and color schemes.
#D7AX - I pledge to make this theme as accessible as it can be. If you find any flaws, please submit an issue. Help me fix them if you can.

Chamfer has been reworked from the ground up for 7.x! It is an HTML5, 960 grid using Omega as a base-theme. It makes use of the color module and has good support for the Tinynav.js module / library.
