Experimental project
This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.
Taxonomy Children Context provides a context relationship for ctools to return all children of a given term.
This can be used, for example, to generate this contetxt on an term panel and forward it to a view as argument. In this way the view avoids subselects and gains a better performance.
Example usage:
- Build a view with a view pane display.
- Add a contextual filter to term ids to that view pane. (Be sure that 'Allow multiple values' is checked for this contextual filter.)
- Enter 'Argument input' of the view pane and select 'Input on pane config'.
- Add the relationship and the view pane to a panel.
- Find the context key 'Term ID of all term, separated by + or ,' (default is %term_children:tids). Add this context placeholder to the view pane settings in the panel.
- Done.
