I have two QQ: first, is there an easy way for Drupal to convery html in a content entry into links if the full url is present or does that have to be *done* in html to show up as a link?

second, is there a way to add a foto gallery to Drupal or adapt one of the current modules for a foto gallery that users can upload images to?

I'm just learning about how Drupal works and am reasonably ignorant about programming, so be gentle. Thanks

I recently uploaded a large (>500) number of nodes to my 4.4 site via SQL. I used SQL rather than node_import because I needed to be able to assign taxonomy verbs to each node during the import process. I'm not yet ready to tackle something like patching node_import, until I better understand the data structures of the site content.

I just signed up. I have reviewed this and other programs and this seems closest to my needs. After reading some of the permissions debate, I want to ask if under any of the proposals or in the existing system is the following possible:

Forgive me if I am ignorant of the jargon.

I want to create a site where I have certain content moderators. They would each have a section of the website, they and other people can read and submit articles for that section. But the content moderator has his own content queue to review and if approved it enters that content section. For example:

Sally handles content related to insects.
Harry handles content related to fish.
Dick handles content related to mammals.

any user can read those sections and even post to those sections queue (all content is moderated), but only Harry can approve fish related content and that content would only appear in Harrys queue.

Can this be done with any or all the proposals listed?

This may be where taxonomy permissions may apply. My understanding of nodes is they among other things can be individual articles. That may be overkill for what I need.

I am going to investigate this, but I suppose there is only one content queue at this point, so to handle my needs I will need to expand the queue module to allow for multiple but seperate queues. Has anyone done any work on this?

Also regarding modules like the photo galleries, can I put a seperate photo gallery module in each of my sections controlled again by that content moderator?

Can someone explain to me what exactly boxes are and how they are used in themes? And perhaps how they differ from blocks?

A forum for the Joint World Cooperation

The 4.4rc has a module 'title' which 'Enables users to link to stories, articles or similar content by title.' However, I can't seem to find the means of accessing that functionality under the administrative or create content menus.
