This year I have been nominated as the Sun RDP for Victoria to attend LCA 2005, Australia's national Linux conference. While I am there I am going to also be representing Drupal and get the word out there. I will have posters (thanks for the posters in the marketing dir) and will be giving a lightning talk on the up and coming release of Drupal 4.6.
FOSDEM is beginning at Université Libre de Bruxelles. This afternoon, we'll be delivering a set of interesting Drupal presentations here in the developer room, but the truly monumental event was the developer sprint in the past two days. A lot of good discussion has taken place about usability, structured content and other initiatives we're excited about. Expect a lot of patches in the coming weeks, right after the 4.6 release. Session chairs will be updating the developer sprint pages with summaries of findings from each room; look for that to happen when people get back home and overcome jet lag.
Wish you were here. Do your best to attend Drupal Conference 2006, wherever that will be!
The event by the zope sponsoring is held in Japan on February 19.

Drupal will be presented at the Third Hungarian PHP Conference at two sessions. One is about building a webshop with Drupal and the Ecommerce module bundle, the other one is comparing the Xaraya and Drupal development approaches, regarding the content management problems. The organizers are also preparing some suprises for the Drupal interested attendees. Participation is free, but since the conference is almost completely Hungarian, good speaking knowledge of this beautiful language (and prior registration) is required.
