I am both an artist and a programmer. I started off in the arts, with a BFA degree in Illustration from Brigham Young University. Over the years I've migrated from design to programming. As a seasoned instructor at the Art Institute of Portland, I have taught a variety of courses in art, design, and programming. I have also been a featured presenter at the WebVisions conference in Portland, OR.

I live and work just outside Portland, Oregon, and run my own small business building Drupal websites. My wife and I have 5 children.
