I worked for many years in the professional services industry as a database administrator, developer and then as a programmer mainly working with Microsoft SQL Server, ASP and Visual Basic. In 2009 I discovered the flexibility and power of open-source technologies and made the transition to PHP, MySQL and Drupal and haven't looked back.
