Events

Volunteers in the Drupal Community run many types of events, all around the world.

• Camp: a short, volunteer-led event that focuses on Drupal in a specific geographic region or a specific topic.
• Ceremony/awards: a special event to celebrate a major Drupal release or the accomplishments of our community members.
• Contribution: a focused event where attendees collaborate on some aspect of Drupal. Training and mentoring is often provided.
• DrupalCon: continent-wide events organized by professional event planners, in conjunction with the Drupal Association.
• Initiative meeting: a meeting of an organized strategic or community initiative group.
• Meetup/interest group: an informal gathering of individuals interested in Drupal, aimed at building local knowledge and community.
• Training: an event where a group of people is trained on a specific topic by one or more expert trainers.

The Drupal Association provides an API that allows other websites to present Drupal Event data in new and interesting ways.
