Would it be possible for this module to track RSS feed usage? I understand that this currently only injects Javascript code into the page and shows graphs, but could it ping Piwik when it serves RSS feeds?

That could be useful, because right now I am completely in the dark regarding the usage of node/feed...

I remember someone else asked for it in google analytics/piwik queue some time ago... The answer may be simple, it works if someone surfs on your site an click on a feed link, but inside a feed or people who subsctibe to your feed with alternate readers are not tracked. I'm not sure if there is any other way than analyzing your server logfiles... This is for sure a save way, but as long as there is no javascript inside a feed we are out of luck without serverside tracking code.

We can investigate on this further... maybe someone have written down something.
