Piwik - Web analytics

hass - April 17, 2008 - 10:22

Adds the Piwik web statistics tracking system to your website.

The module allows you to add the following statistics features to your site:

  • Selectively track certain users, roles and pages
  • Monitor what files are downloaded from your pages
  • Cache the Piwik code on your local server for improved page loading times
  • Direct access to statistics in reports section (D6+)

Version compatibility:

Piwik Drupal module
0.4.x 1.1+
0.2.x 1.0

Known issue: Piwik 0.4+ have broken the ability to authenticate data URL requests. Therefore Piwik denies access to all report data from other sites nevertheless you entered your token_auth correctly. The main reason is that token_auth is not working any longer with the flash applets and this break the Drupal Piwik - Reports module. It's not in the scope of this module to solve this...

Note: The Piwik web statistics them self (not this module) is in early stages. Therefore the Piwik server code may change every day and there is no guaranty that this might not break something in this Drupal module. The DEV release will try to keep up-to-date with this changes. Please try the latest DEV if there are any issues.
