RMA - Return authorization tracking system

Hello, We are using drupal 4.6.x and are looking to have some sort of RMA tracking system for our customers. A customer would login and see the status of a repair, its expected ship date, etc.
Has anyone seen a module that does this or could be configured to do this? Any examples would be appreciated!

Also, we are not currently using the e-commerce module, but would like to down the road.
