If I check a single, or several (or check all) radio button(s) in front of the table names then backup, nothing happens. Table backup works only with "edit table".

sadly, i had *just* made the official 4.7.x-1.0 release when we noticed the bug was still there (see http://drupal.org/node/40661#comment-158013). so, if you use the 4.7.x-1.x-dev "release", or checkout from CVS, it'll be fixed. it'll certainly be fixed in the 4.7.x-1.1 release, but i'm just waiting for another bug fix (http://drupal.org/node/48144) before i make another official release.
