Would it work fine to have 2 casetracker modules installed, with different names and table names? ie one for task (cases), another for ideas (cases)... (its because they will have different users and so i want different access permissions.)

morbus iffNo, it's not that easy, and I don't know of too many other modules that could do the same. What you could do is install one Case Tracker with Organic Groups. Make a group "Ideas" and another "Cases". "Ideas" would have private membership (you only), "Cases" would be public. That's typically how you'd create protected cases per client.
