Hi,
After installing the module all appears to be working fine except the Drupal status messages build up on each other and carry over onto other pages so any changes I make to my site get appended to the end of the list, like so:
* The changes have been saved.
* The changes have been saved.
* Updated vocabulary Newsletter.
* The configuration options have been saved.
* The changes have been saved.
* The changes have been saved.
I don't have the Content Taxonomy or Poormanscron modules installed.
The problem goes away when I deactivate the Simplenews module.
I am experiencing this issue in the 6.x.1-3, 6.x-2.0-alpha1 and 6.x-2.x-dev versions.

Please provide more information how to reproduce this issue.
Also try to reproduce it yourself by starting with an empty drupal setup.

codenamerhubarb commentedThe client has decided to go with an alternative solution for emails and I'm sorry but I'm too busy at the moment to go through and disable other modules to find the culprit. I might revisit this at a later date.
Thanks for your work on Simplenews, this is the first time I've had an issue with it. :)
