This module has net bee updated or even had issues responded 2 in over a year.
I would like to help to develop this project as I have plans to use and expand it.

I emailed the current maintainer, who has not been active on this project for over a year.
I have several patches submitted almost a month ago.
I plan on continuing the development of this module in the future.
I have almost completely re written the (and have included others submitted patches).
Please conceder granting me full or co maintainership of this module.

You've followed the procedure correctly but my concern is that minghui.yu's tracker shows him to still be active on the site so he's still around. Have you tried contacting him directly?

I sent a similar email to the current maintainer a month ago, and never received a response.
He had been active on the forum but there have been little patchs in the que for the module (http://drupal.org/node/788846 for example) for months that have not been committed or even commented upon.

Sorry folks. I was in my vacation in last a few weeks and just came back today.

That module was for one of my previous project and was quick-and-dirty fix to a very specific task.

I of course welcome and thank all of you to work on this.

So its been 2 weeks since the email was sent by kiamlaluno iin #5 and on #7 we have the current maintainer saying go for it. how do we proceed?
