I just installed sheetnode version 6.x.1.5. I installed social calc. What I
need to do is be able to cut from Excel and Paste into fields in a node. I
was going to setup a field in my node as type Sheet and then users could
copy and paste. But I can't seem to make that work. It will paste in the
"enter-able" field but I need to paste into cells. E.g., if I copy 4 cells
in excel I need that to paste into 4 cells in the node/sheet.

Suggestions?

I will also want to set the dimensions of the sheet for the field. I saw a previous issue so I think that is possible.

FYI. If a solution is available that does not use Sheetnode that is fine.

I just tested the ability to copy a range of cell values from OpenOffice.org Calc into sheetnode. The test was successful: the cell values were correctly placed on the sheet starting at the current selected cell. However, formatting information was not copied.

Is this what you have in mind?

I hard the same issue until I used the keyboard short cuts to copy and paste. Ctrl-C to copy and Ctrl-V to paste.
