Does not work with Drupal 5

I tried all versions of this module with Drupal 5 and I cannot get it to appear in my modules list or any access control list to let me activate the module.

I have Image Module working - what I want do do is upload an image, have a thumbnail appear in a post and when you click on the thumbnail it expands to an original post. Am I the only one running Drupal 5 experiencing this problem? I saw a similar post a week ago here and there was no response. Thanks.
