Image Assist
This module allows users to upload and insert inline images into posts. It automatically generates an "Add image" link under fields of your choice. Clicking the link opens an image browsing window, displaying all images that have been uploaded through the Image module.
Images can be filtered by ownership or taxonomy terms (categories). New images can also be uploaded in the Image assist window. Clicking on an image displays a properties page where attributes such as caption, size, and alignment can be set before the image is inserted into the post.
Image Assist can also be used when adding images from a rich-text editor. This feature currently exists for TinyMCE using the included drupalimage plugin of Image Assist. See below for installation instructions. Support for other editors will probably be added via upcoming Inline API.
Notes:
- If you are using Image 5.x-1.2 or lower, use Image Assist 5.x-1.4.
- If you are using Image 5.x-1.3 or higher, use Image Assist 5.x-1.5 (or upcoming versions). Additionally, you need to follow the critical upgrade steps that have been published in Image.module's release notes.
- In front of submitting a new issue, please search the issue queue for already existing issues.
