Yes, someone has offered sponsorship and we're now seriously trying to allocate resource. We're really busy, but we've asked someone to look at this (hopefully this weekend). No promises, but we're looking to try and get a proper D7 port done in the next 4 weeks.

An experimental dev release should be available within the next 12h (or you can use git).
Testers welcome. Closing this, please open new issues for found bugs.
This is currently a "bare" port of the 6.x version and won't accept features requests. A 7.2 branch will be created to refactor the whole at some point.
