TimelessDomain commentedFeedAPI is replaced by Feeds in Drupal 7 http://drupal.org/project/feeds
Feeds allows you to map feed data just like Feed Element Mapper, but it does not provide you with a preview of all mappable data like feed element mapper does. Rather it just uses the default namespaces to extract the data. It would be nice to be able to provide an example URL of the feed -> then be able to map out custom namespaces RATHER than being forced to use the default namespaces. This is why the feed element mapper module is soo valuable. There is an issue under the Feeds module discussing bringing this feature to it, but I could not locate it at this time

brad.mrumlinski commentedI agree this would be a nice added feature which I miss from Feed API...

cmcintosh commentedI am doing work on a d7 feeds based version of this module as I could use it for a lot of things. I will be porting it here over the next couple of days, please stay tuned. To start off I will only be focusing on porting the d6 features of this module into working with d7
