A drupal multi-domain module at last!

venkat-rk - December 20, 2006 - 01:16

Adrian, one of the core drupal developers, has just released a module that allows you to post specific content types on specific domains and sub-domains while using just one database.

Can't imagine how many times this has been asked for in the forums, so I wanted to flag this for everyone interested.

Found via drupal planet.

Great addition

What a great christmas present

...this is exactly what I've searched for! Looking forward to trying it out.

Is there any risk that the core patch will have a negative effect on other modules? And do you think the patch will be included in futúre versions of the drupal core?

/J.

Good news - thank you!

that is soooo unfair!

socialtalker - January 3, 2007 - 10:53

these past two weeks i installed 4.7, the last five days i have gone crazy trying to point a single subdomain to my drupal domain, now after grumbling about how there should have long been a module for subdomaining, there IS one for version 5???? NOT FAIR, NOT FAIR!

single sign on in 4.7

AstaChattare - January 11, 2007 - 21:27

Singlesignon which you need to use this module is only in version 4.7. How did you do about that?

Any suggestions on usage and implementation

leflores - January 15, 2007 - 12:55

It seem to be a little rough to use this module. Any suggestion about how to implemment a multidomain scenario? A short example?

Also under "default domain" I have this error:

warning: Missing argument 1 for multidomain_default_domain_settings() in W:\www\drupal50rc2\sites\all\modules\multidomain\multidomain.module on line 61.

Thanks in advance,
