On the "Upgrade process" page, http://drupal.org/node/570162, something is not quite right with steps 8-10:

Step 8 states, in part, "Copy your backed up 'files' and 'sites' directories to the Drupal
installation directory.

Step 9 is missing.

Step 10 undoes some of the work from step 8: "Empty your 'sites' folder."
