Get rid navigation menu on google search engine result?

I'm upgrading my drupal 4.6.5 to 4.7.4 and after a month there is a problem with google search engine result index where google also index the navigation menu and the other blocks. When it was 4.6.5 google only view the article or content on result.

is there any way to only view the content / article on google result index?
i think it's the cause traffic drop to my site.

why do you think the inclusion of navigation menus by search bots would drop your rate of traffic ?

Well, if the summary from a google search shows generic navmenu text rather than the specific body text relevant to the search, then the user might skip over that result and look instead at one with a summary text that seemed more relevant. Consider:

I search for "candy cane ingredients" and get the following results:

1. mydrupalsite.org
Home | News | About us | Products | Contact

2. someothersite.org
Candy Cane Ingredients... Candy canes are mostly sugar and corn syrup, with...

Which would you click on?

Google has been known to drop sites completely if they serve up customised pages to the googlebot.

I agree there should be sensible text in the SE index. I made a change in my theme and put the menu after the content text. Still waiting until Google reindexes and hope that this will do it.
