As described over here: http://drupal.org/node/105866, the editor does not appear when replying - it only appears when you're creating a new topic.

I just update tinymce setting: now you have option to enable tinymce on textarea of edit-body and/or edit comment .

You need to wait for 12 hours until the project page of Drupal doing synchronize with the CVS storage then you can download the latest one :(
otherwise you can use the package file on this issue atactment.

This was something I had in 4.5 and no longer have in 5.0. This is a make-or-break feature, without it I cannot upgrade to 5.0. If TMCE does not have it, does one of the other editors?
