I have a problem with Brilliant Gallery. I do everything what I sholud do about conf this module and first the gallery was showing perfectly but after some time images from gallery disappear. I need help .

why is brilliant gallery placing images from folder on my server into a cache folder? and then doesn't use that directory when trying to pull the images so it results in a broken link

I too have this problem - So I tried looking around at other solutions and found some comments about another module (photopic) which seems to have similar problems because of a hosting configuration (http://kevincarbonaro.com/content/how-fix-sorry-did-not-manage-load-albu...)

Could the use of curl instead of simple xml solve this issue?
