GCal Events[Events] cURL error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer

I'm getting: GCal Events[Events] cURL error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer on my GCal Events calendar on my homepage at: http://www.hischina.org

Sometimes I also got a failure after receiving X amount of data after 1000 Milliseconds

I did figure out that if I deleted some older events in the calendar (from back in December), then it would load.

Anything I can do to to either increase the wait time so that it loads the calendar, or so that it doesn't have to pull all the data in?
