Hello - I've just installed Drupal recently and I love it. Over the last few weeks I've become adventurous and have been adding different modules and testing out different features. I've looked all over the forum and the bug reports but there are a few things I can't find information on (some mentions for 5.0, but not 4.7)

Basically, when someone logs in and it shows them under "Who's online", it never updates or clears them out of the list, even long after they have signed out.

Any help on this I would appreciate.

I've noticed this too and checked out some of the documentation you're alluding to at http://drupal.org/node/83468 (but I think you're right in that it mentions it for 5.x and not 4.7). Try refreshing the page to see if it clears the names out, but sometimes there is a time lag. It seems that when a user logs out of an authenticated session their name may still display on the "online users" list for up to 15 minutes.

How does this process work for "guests"?
