Drupal 7 port maybe already sorta done accidentally (remarkup module)

Though i did due diligence to avoid duplicating a module, i missed this one in my search. User jedihe pointed out my mistake. I haven't tried Shortcode yet but it looks to do everything my Remarkup module does and more (allowing nested tags for instance). However, Remarkup is Drupal 7 only, so maybe you can steal from it for your port to 7, or i can steal features from you to make it a feature-complete replacement for Shortcode, whichever suits you best.
