since it's UnConeD, and he just committed an issue i was trying to get into 5.0 RC2, i decided to give this "ask-and-ye-shall-recieve" service. ;)

- old patch left off the initial '/'
- old patch erroneously tried to change the form value from the validate hook

both are now fixed.
